The Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music (LSSM) actively engages in community outreach through its "Gift of Giving" program, aiming to support families facing unexpected challenges in our community. We believe in bringing light to those who have fallen on hard times.
In celebration of our 13-year milestone, LSSM has given back over $10,000 in prizes to students, teachers, and families in need. Our diverse giveaways, including a free 88-key Williams Digital Keyboard, student guitars, Kroger gift cards, paid childcare tuition, gas cards, and spa days for single moms, showcase our commitment to making a positive impact.
The "Gift of Giving" theme extended to our Winter 2023 recital, encouraging students and parents to contribute during the holiday season. Families actively participated in the Samaritan’s Purse Campaign, filling shoeboxes with special gifts for underprivileged children worldwide. Collaborating with the Lawrenceville Co-Op, we collected over 1,000 nonperishable food items and hygiene products for those in need. As proud partners of Village of Hope, an organization restoring hope to the homeless and those in need, we continue to make a meaningful impact in our community, click here to learn more: https://www.vohlv.org/our-programsÂ
At LSSM, parents utilize resources and special events to instill values of gratitude and generosity in their children. Beyond music lessons, our school is dedicated to imparting important life lessons, including the significance of giving back.
