Music for Little Mozarts

Our fun and exciting 45-minute group piano class for 4-6-year-old follows a book written to provide appropriate piano instruction for young beginners while simultaneously developing listening skills. Three books guide young musicians through a comprehensive approach to musical learning. The program and all of its music were written to develop finger dexterity on the piano while also enhancing music appreciation and the basics of singing, rhythm, and movement classes. Class lasts 3-6 months, at which point students will graduate to private lessons! It is fun and exciting for every kid!

By enrolling in LSSM's Music for Little Mozarts, your little will improve their learning, memory, reasoning ability, social skills, and general creativity by being introduced to the piano early on!

Tuition for Music for Little Mozart’s is $120 per month.

Family Forte

Family Forte is a loving, creative music and movement class for toddlers and families ages 1- 5 years. Your child will sing, dance, play instruments and learn musical concepts through intentional teaching and parent involvement. While your child is having so much fabulous fun, he or she will be building speech skills through lion roars, balance through lap bounces, large motor skills through dances, cooperation through circle dances, active listening skills, and fine motor skills through finger plays and instruments. We also

explore the keyboard or a real musical instrument in each class. It’s like your toddler is starting piano lessons already! Parents attend for the entire 45 minutes of this class. Online home activities will be available for each family enrolled.

Music Class

Melody Makers

Guides your young child (Ages 4-6 yrs) to learn, discern, and apply music concepts like high/low, long/short, fast/slow, etc. Your child will learn to apply these concepts through movement, sound stories, pre-music reading skills, and the piano. Your child will have a turn on a piano or keyboard each week that will gradually teach them how to hold their hands, read rhythms, read notes, and be able to play at least three songs once they graduate. We’ll also listen to and identify the instruments of the orchestra. Your child will receive a fabulous foundation for formal lessons in piano or any instrument. Children attend the first

40 minutes of this ONE-hour class, and parents come in for the last 20 minutes to learn how to continue the learning at home. Online home activities will be available for each family enrolled. Each student will also have a notebook for class and homework.

Music Class

Rhythm Rascals

Rhythm Rascals invites your young preschooler (Ages 3-4 years) to explore beat and rhythm concepts through instruments, movement, and the piano. Your preschooler will learn to be more independent in his or her musical play, use appropriate language skills, dramatize musical stories, and apply what he or she is learning to the piano or other real instruments like the recorder, dulcimer, or autoharp. Children attend the first 30 minutes of class with the teacher, and parents come in for the last 15 minutes of this 45-minute class. Online home activities will be available for each family enrolled.
