LSSM Student Band: Solo practice got you this far. A band will take you the rest of the way.
What happens when a student takes what they’ve learned in private lessons and gets to play it with other young musicians? They begin to experience music in a whole new way.
The new LSSM Student Band, led by Mr. Benjamin, gives youth and teen musicians the opportunity to develop their skills, learn how to play together, build confidence, and work toward a live performance.
Students may play guitar, bass, drums, piano/keyboard, voice, woodwinds, or brass as they learn how their individual part comes together to create something bigger.

What You'll Learn:
• Strengthen their skills on their instrument
• Develop rhythm, timing, and musical awareness
• Learn how their instrument fits into a band setting
• Build a repertoire and work toward a live performance
• Gain confidence and teamwork experience
With only 7 spots available, each student gets the attention they need to grow. This program is open to late beginner through advanced students.
